Visit Costa del Sol

Costa del Sol is Spanish for "Sun Coast"! What better name could the Spaniards have given this wonderful southern holiday coast of Spain?

From Nerja. known as the "jewel of the eastern Costa del Sol" to Gibraltar in the west, this is a fabulous stretch of coast, with everything for the holidaymaker.

The capital is the bustling city of Malaga ... a great place for shopping!
This is also where the airport is located. Coming further west, you arrive in Torremolinos, famous for its limitless nightlife and entertainment. It's two golden beaches have earned a reputation for being the best on the Costa. The fish restaurants overlooking Carihuela Beach are superb. The choice of restaurants is amazing!

On the western end of the resort is the huge attractive marina of
Benalmadena Costa. Just inland is the very popular Tivoli World
Amusement Park. Youngsters love this place!

Going further west along the coast, you come to Fuengirola, with its
bustling promenade and seven kilometres (about four miles) of sandy
beach. Watersports are popular here. So is the waterpark, especially with children!

Inland, in the hills, is the village of Mijas, offering an authentic Spanish
experience with its dazzling white-washed houses in traditional architectural style. The coastal views from Mijas are breath-taking.

West of Fuengirola is the up-market resort of Marbella , with its classic
Old Town and superb golf courses nearby. The jet-set are especially attracted to Marbella and its close neighbour, Puerto Banus, famous for its stylish nightclubs and designer shops. It is fascinating to sit at an open-air cafe here and admire the huge, expensive yachts moored in the marina. One can always dream!
